Hi All
This will be my final KUHNE Setup. I hope KUHNE will extend their new Down-Converter with an external GPSDO reference input as they will do know with the current Up-Converter.

Hi All,
waiting for upgrading the Kuhne converter; lot of fm.
Station on air remotely via internet since 2 days.
TX: remoteham software server rcforb server (at home remotehamsoftware client rcforb client), FT817, Kuhne upconverter, 11m cellflex, wlan gridantenna
RX: spyserver software (at home sdrsharp), asirspy mini rx, 10m sat cable, 60cm offset dish, lnb with 25mhz injected from a gps disciplined oscillator connected to a 25mhz pll from df9np
computer at serversite: samsung thin client tx-wn, win7 embedded: very old, very cheap from ebay
works fine here

Building the same setup here. Waiting on Kuhne and Icom (9700) now . You can also use the GPSDO for your icom9700. It has a 10Mhz sma connector for 10Mhz reference.

which program did you use to make this drawing?
Hello Wolfgang, HB9RYZ,
the duoband feed you want to use is from DJ7GB? ... or from DJ7GP!

Hi All
From DJ7GP - sorry for the misstype.

I am also planning the same setup - thank you Wolfgang for answering my emails!
I am waiting for Kuhne to provide shipping details for the B model Up-Converter and also for the Down Converter. I have also ordered the DJ7GP dual feed - again thanks to Wolfgang.
Exciting times - I remember attending the AMSAT-DL presentation at Friedrichshafen in 2016 (I think). Amazing how well this project has come to fruition!

I've heard that the 10MHz input connector on the 9700 is for calibration, it doesn't actually lock to that reference.
So, if the MKU LNC 10 QO-100 is delayed, what would be a suitable alternative?
I've got the DJ7GP dual band feed and the updated MKU UP 2424B, what could I use instead of the long-awaited LNC?
Hi David,
I use exactly the same setup. Do you also use the icom 9700?

Hi David,
i think the only way to solve the problem is to build your own downconverter.
All you need is the PCB from old O.S.C.A.R. 10GHz downconverter from here:
Only the RF-Part is used her and i inject the LO into the stage after F3 with
1257 MHz for 433MHz IF.
The LO is from ADF4351.
The second option is to remove the PCB from an LNB like Megasat and remove the antennas. In their place a piece of RG402 with SMA is soldered.
Hi Geert! Yes! I also have the IC-9700 and now I'm not sure what to do for a downconverter which I can connect directly to the DJ7GP dual feed!

I'm also waiting for the Kuhne LNC.
A question about the icom 9700 and connection to the MKU2424B. Do you use the PTT line from the icom to switch the 2424B? And which port from the Icom do you use?
