MiniTioune V0.9 beta optimised for QO-100

Tony there was a VLC update for both versions this week. May be that is the reason. I will check and post my results later..

pa1kek As I can see in your screenshot the valure of C/N MER is 3,5 dB (left one beside constellations). Right one beside constellations you see a MER of more than 4,68 dB is needed to decode.

I tried to improve the tuning, now C/N MER is almost 6 but the video is not there !!

pa1kek Giovanni, when you select the button q-beacon or sr1500 again, you should get the video.

It is an approximation to the level of signal above the noise. To improve it, improve your receiver. Bigger dish, better LNB. Compare with others to make sure your setup is operating effectively. You will need a large dish for DATV, at least 80cm and preferably 1.2m.

Hi,

I use MiniTioune_V0_9_9_1h by F6DZP and QO-100 WB Live Tune. There two issues one for each program.

For live tune it is is not permitted to change Low SR & Wide scan and always send them with 0 values. As I want always to send 1 values I patch the exe and I verify that the correct values (1's) are send. So this problem is solved.

For MiniTioune the problems are that these values are not used. The software receive these values as it is displayed in Extern Request window but it always ignore them and unclick them. The software when a Live Tune send 0 or 1 values if it was clicked before Low SR and Wide Tune, it unclick them. My position is that this is not a personal preference but an unexpected behaviour of this wonderful software.

In the planned new release as I can see there is no entry for LNB offset for direct frequency entry in the program interface ? Also exists an entry in .ini file ? It seems that can be entered using adapt offset using beacon for example.

If you wish you can send me at mycall@yahoo.com to test it before release it.

After updating my win-10 today, QO-100 WB Live Tune.exe does not work anymore. It even does not show up. With mouse over on the icon => see picture attached.

It may be something that's .net related.

Any ideas?

Version 0.09b still running after WIN10 update last few days ..

Robert, 0.9b works surprisingly. 1.0b didn't.

But I found a solution:

Delete folder =>

C:\Users\-USERNAME-\AppData\Local\QO_100_WB_Live_Tune

then it works again. After closing live tune, new parameters are stored again correctly.

-USERNAME- is your user name.

I've still no idea what happened. But it is fixed for now. 73 Mike
