I receive mine a week ago. Also on 23cm version

My Transverter from sg-labs get rather hot and I made the experience, that it goes on air without ptt line like vox operation. Is there any jumper setting in the transverter for ptt-operation only?

Hello,

You have several possibilities:

1. switch PTT via the 3,5mm plug

2. set the jumper inside to switch to TX via +12V on the coax

3. HF-Vox - is active any time (to protect the transverter of TXing into the RX part )

But there is a manual that can be downloaded from Hrisijans web site where all the above mentioned points are explained.

Then you have to ground the "distal - end - pin" of the 3,5mm stereo jack. GND is the most proximal contact (the middle contact is for sequencer)

See datasheet 2 posts before yours, all written in there.

Sequencer output , open collector NPN transistor 30V/0.3A max. Time delay: 30 mS after PTT LOW. RF power is applied to the

output after additional 30 mS

Hello again, i'm having troubles with the TX side, i'm getting the RED INPUT LED on even with no power in input and the VOX seems not to work, any suggestions?

You are sure it is red and not orange??

I had an issue with PTT while ago, it was caused by an faulty 3,5mm plug, after I replaced with a new one all was OK again.

seems like it was a problem on the FT-817 which was not sending power due to a blown fuse inside, luckily it was easy to solve and with no damage to the transverter
