FO-29 went silent at 9th July at about 22:00 UTC. If you have stored CW-telemetry from 8th July after 04:00 UTC then please mail it to oper@jarl.org . It was a great OSCAR in a lite elliptical orbit.

FO-29 is back!
VK6RK reported today:
FO-29 was active over VK today, 12 September, 0512 to 0529z.
Listened out for the CW beacon and heard it. Tried the transponder and heard myself ok.
Then had a QSO with David VK5DG/p.
Great to see the bird is active again.

On later orbit's FO-29 was not heard, but maybe the command station is working on it...

Wish them well with recovery of the satellite, fingers crossed it can be restored to full operation, I certainly miss it for working across the Atlantic!

FO-29 is not a silent key - but often not active. This week I had the chance to work FO-29 twice (with strong signals). Maye it was active more often, but I´m not able to monitor it 24hours per day 
Even an other old bird was/is still active. The FM repeater of AO-27 was/is active as well!
