Think I´ve missed so far: CN, EL, 4U1ITU and 3A (if it was really QRV via QO-100
).
I certainly missed 4U1ITU and ZA/DL2RMC. People told me 3A was active, but hitherto I can't get a confirmation 3A was/has been really active.

As far as i know, i thought 3A is not allowed above 70cm for amateur use, or am I wrong?
If it was allowed, i would be activated last september by one of our clubmembers.
But i could be wrong.

Es'hail 2 QO-100 Callsign DX Spotting Log
Unique callsign log entries: 1261
This site is not bad, but too commercial (too many ads) and a column for frequency is missing. A DX spotting log should be like the ones for HF, e.g. https://dxwatch.com/
Dear All
Here are my tips for Dxing on QO-100
DX side
- Announce your activity previously going on air, with all the relevant details (e.g. Dates, Schedule, Grid Locator, QSL information, equipment, etc.). The purpose of doing so is to warn potential interested amateurs in advance and avoid to repeat on air (over and over) the same information.
- If you can't pick up full calls due pileup, WORK SPLIT. Just listen a few kHz up (or in a range, if the pile up is too big.) DO NOT work by numbers, take lists or ask just the "last 2" (partial call). Those "systems" are useless and unfair.
- Whatever rules you make, DON'T BREAK THEM. If you do, the pile up will have no respect for you and will break them too.
- Make sure YOU are always in control. Leave no room for ambiguity or any opportunity for anyone to break in.
Pileup side
- Have patience. If you don't have, turn off your radio and return a couple hours later. The pile-up is probably over by then.
- Increase your ability, not your power. Unlikely on HF, driving more power will not increase your chances to beat the pileup, but trigger LEILA instead.
- Don't spoil others fun. Once the pileup is over you will have plenty of time to have a long chat and tell the Dx station all about your setup, wx, etc. so, unless been asked, please refrain to do that while others are still struggling to work the Dx.
- Report activity on DX Cluster e.g. http://www.dxsummit.fi/ spotting Downlink frequency (eg 10489700)
For more tips (written for HF, but partially applicable to SAT as well) , go to https://www.hamradio-operating-ethics.org/ and download the slide set on your language.
See you on QO-100 pileups

I got today the nice QSL card from TR8CA. Can you hold LOTW in your hand ?
"Life is long enough to collect nice QSL cards"
@HB9SKA Please do not confuse QSL card exchange with LoTW confirmation, they are different things and one does not replace the other LoTW is a very smart and economic way to request diplomas, but the QSL card is a good remembering of a contact.

Hallo Johannes
Yes, it was a QSO with R2DRJ. Thanks for your hint, I will correct it for the next table. It's odd, R2/UA2 is Kaliningrad and he writes "region Moscow".
Only 3G ?
Surely the other way around? G is rare DX. Never seen that before!
Greetings everybody !! This is my first post... I've been drawing up a list of all the callsign prefixes for all the countries likely to be heard via QO-100.... I started feeling that I wished to have a google map app that displayed the 10 deg & 5 deg rings on the map!! That would make "zooming-in" worthwhile -- with the present coverage map, zooming-in just degrades the display !!
Is there any chance somebody might feel inclined to create a google map app with those coverage rings displayed...?

Hi David
I did the same exercise some time ago.
First I draw the theoretical footprint of the sat based on the position and distance from the earth. Then I generated the DXCC list.
See files attached.

Thank you. The google Earth plot is very interesting

Thank you, both.... I'd like to see the Google Earth App....
Something very similar to this: https://egloff.eu/googlemap_v3/carto.php
... but with the coverage more limited to the QO-100 footprint.... !!
Does anybody know how this kind of Google Maps overlay is done? It is VERY CLEVER !!

Ok, I've just come across this site here: https://www.whatsmylocator.co.uk/ which is by Peter Goodhall, 2M0SQL and uses "OpenStreetMap".... I've just emailed Peter and maybe he might be interested in doing the kind of map overlay app I am suggesting...
Here's hoping !!

Hi David
If you want to see the 5 and 10 deg rings, go to https://www.satbeams.com/footprints?beam=9796
However, I don't see the point. There have been stations already active on locations below 5 deg elevation ;o)
