Here I want to share the information to you from Charles G4GUO how to use the Mini Tiouner Express HW with Jean-Pierres beta release V0.9:

Firstly you need to connect a 10k resistor from pin 29 of the FTDI USB
controller chip to ground. Then using FT_Prog (from the FTDI website)
you need to change the product descriptor string from Minitiouner-Express
to USB <-> NIM Tuner Then the Minitiouner software will think it is talking to a BATC tuner. I think he will do the change in his final release. - Charles |
Done this in the evening. It is a bit tricky you need good SMT expierence..or you wait for the implementation of JP to the final V0.9. See this post as a backup if there will be no implementation for Mini Tiouner Express HW to the final version..
