RX-SSTV Decoder for Soundcard

Hello OMs!

As the forum search returned no hits for "RX-SSTV" i post a link to this SSTV decoder here.

It has some more SSTV modes than the "old" MMSSTV even that it uses parts of the original MMSSTV.

I encountered some PY stations a few days ago on SSTV not decodable with MMSSTV.

With RX-SSTV the Images could be received.

Normaly not possible...this software use the same powelfull MMSTV engine!!

it's msstv with a other "graphical interface"

Decoding is the same so "normaly" no difference in decoding the signals....

Glaub es nicht...das program ist das gleiche wie MMSSTV nur mit eine andere grafische oberflache !!!

Das program lauf mit die gleiche " powerful MMSSTV Engine © JE3HHT - von Makoto Mori"....so es decodiert auf die gleiche weise als das "originel" und ist genau so "alt"..

DB8TF Flo the MMSSTV menu is only a subset of the overall modes. e.g. SC2-120 is not in the menu but is used for ISS reception. From my point of view Luc is right.

Ok, but i can tell you that MMSSTV could not decode the PY Station.

Found the saved Picture.

Was mode SC2-120 and MMSTV (at least here) won't decode it.

Maybe some AF filter settings are different between RX/MMSSTV.

Hello Flo. You must right click on the modes and a list will open in mmsstv with all the other modes which you then can select.

Wen man die setting sstv-engine auf macht von rx-sstv dan kan man oben sehn das es diese engine 1.06 nutzt...

Naturlich kan man verschiedene setting haben...

installiere die beide und mach selbe das vergleich...
