SDR CONSOLE + PTT out signal

I measured 800ms delay between pressing the PTT at Console Input or clicking on TX-Button and Pluto- GPO-Signal. This was confirmed by Evariste, F5OEO. Hew wrote me, this is the round trip of his firmware_031. He wrote also, this can be reduced to some milliseconds but I don't know if this is done already. Meanwhile, I found the POE-Adapter-Solution and it works well and very fast. And was copied by some friends.

To avoid missunderstandings, the delay was not caused by the Console or the method how to activate the transmit mode. Keeping the amplifier in TX-Mode, the delay was very low also. So, the Pluto was ready to transmit but the Amps were switched on and off with 800ms delay. Using the Ethernet-Line is very simple and cheap and there is no distance limit.

I bought one (HW-343) which does not seem to work on Win10.

Can you provide us a picture to verify that you have a correct one?

The 'good' ones are the red.

My first red one was missing burning the firmware.

When I bought the second it was possible to read the code and burn to the 1st one and it worked!

Can you see in USB info if it see it and if yes in what address?

I'll try to post a picture.

The Controller on the board is an ATMEL TINY 45. There are Boards with a - well known - C340 Chip. There were not recognized by the Console. I don't know, why Simon uses so hard restrictions.
I use a PTT-Chain, starting with a button (USB to TTL Converter) which pulls a status input to GND. This triggers the Console and the above shown relay. The PTT-Signal is send to the amplifier with two Power-Over-Ethernet-Adapters in combination with the ethernet cable. With this configuration, the Console itself can control PTT when transmit call sign or voice keyer.

I have this one. Recognized by win10 but not by sdr-console. I tried some other app, but no success. These do not recognize it.

If someone can read the attiny of a functional board, the content may be flashed into mine. Relays driven by pin 2 and 3.

DL5LF it seems that you have the right PCB and it seems that you have the right address. Do not try to burn it again. It seems OK. I have no idea for the moment.

I see the ID in SDRconsole, there seems to be no valid Serial-ID. The same issue I faced with other control apps for this kind of USB-relays

Is there any duplicate in address?

If you unplug the PCB, is there any other device using the same address?

Hm, this is the only one HID relay. Due to the fact that all other control apps fail to control the relay it may not have an ID at all?!

I will try to remove all other external USB devices .....

I uninstalled the DigiUSB driver, unplug and plug again.

Now the Relay is recognized as a HID USB-Input device and it works as expected ....
