CSL 300Mbit USB 2.0 WLAN Stick am PlutoSDR

  • Moin,

    ifconfig zeigt

    wlan0:avahi Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr DC:4E:F4:08:5E:0F

    inet addr:169.254.5.18 Bcast:169.254.255.255 Mask:255.255.0.0

UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1

    Ideen?

  • Ideally, use a cable. If you can't use Cat-7 perhaps use coax and pipe the Wifi down it. Best though not to try to use the Pluto with Wifi. This sounds like some incompatibility problem with the drivers or setup.

  • I tried Wifi 2,4 and 5 GHz, good and stable link with 300 Mb/s,

but at the End of the day is the Wifi solution not useful.

Basically it works, but the continuity of the data stream is not stable.

There are always delays in the data flow, which neither the SDR Console nor the DATV like ...

Now there is an Ethernet cable and everyone is happy ...

  • Moin,

Thank you Mike and Robert for the feedback. It's true, wifi works technically, but it is not practical. After all, it was a proof of concept. In fact, I am currently using a USB ethernet adapter. Even the good one with additional slots for USB memory sticks.
