please check the wobbling of those LNBs before you modify them with TCXOs

Maybe you have misunderstood me, i like to know if the unmodified LNBs do wobble, listen to the CW beacon and hear if the sound is clear or wimmering.

This has nothing to do with TCXOs or other HW stabilization methods.

For sure the wobbling is gone after a modification.

The Goobay and GM201 i have already tested here and now i like to know if you can agree to my observations that they don't give a clear signal.

The "drift" is a completely different thing than the "wobbling".

I listened to your MP3 and the signal sounds not so clear to me.

For SSB reception ok but not "optimal".

The 4 GM201 i tested here had differend strengts of wobbling, 3 were not so good and on one the signal clarity was way better but not even close to a good not wobbling LNB.

The goobay was worser than the GM201 ones.

I also tested a HD Line Black Premium and this LNB was not even usable for SSB reception. But it is a PLL LNB with similar components like the OTSLOs.

The best performers were the Octagon OTSLOs and the Opticum AX Black Buster twin.

If you want to talk about this issue we can later carry out a QSO on the sat if you like.

Hello Harry, I 'am just very interested in results/tests and try to find the best LNB (although there always differences between LNB's even from the same type ), so I asked to put it in the correct (LNB)forum just to make it easier for everyone to find these tests/discussions !

Thanks for the video (although personally I 'am looking for a Twin or Quad LNB )
