ISS crew will work out a plan of repair and restoration work
Cosmonauts of Roskosmos, currently working on board the International Space Station, and specialists from the TsNIIMash Mission Control Center (part of the Roscosmos State Corporation) will work on a further plan to eliminate leaks in the Zvezda module on the ISS on March 8, 2021. This was reported on Monday in the press service of the SP Korolev Rocket and Space Corporation Energia. Korolev (part of the Roscosmos State Corporation).
Quote“Today, as part of the work to eliminate leaks in the Zvezda module, the crew of the International Space Station, under the guidance of specialists from the ISS Russian Segment Flight Control Operations Group, will work out in detail a further plan for repair and restoration work,” the press service noted.
The commander of the 64th long-term expedition, Roscosmos cosmonaut Sergei Ryzhikov and ISS-64 flight engineer, Roscosmos cosmonaut Sergei Kud-Sverchkov, in consultation with the Mission Control Center near Moscow, will step by step study the radiogram of further actions and prepare the necessary equipment for processing the module surface, applying sealant and patches.
