Es'hail-2 beacon frequency (non-amateur)

There is a trick driving those cheap xtal+PLL based LNBs ICs with more precise TCXO. Need to keep the xtal in place and inject the TCXO signal to one of it's pins. If some removes the xtal, the internal oscillator in the IC _won't start_, whatever impedance we mimic to that... it's really important.

10.706 beacon still in the noise... nothing at all

Yesterday I received a report that 10706 turned 6 - 8 dB stronger in Israel.
11205 wasn't checked. -

And this tiny PCB could be a nice HC49 replacer, on board xtal + tcxo + ldo on a HC49 footprint:

That looks nice, is that available somewhere?

That is Es'hail-1 , in approx the same slot.

Edson, are you (also) able to receive the 11205 beacon?
('before' it was around 26 - 27 dB SNR, now around 6 - 7 dB SNR here in JO22 with my experimental / temporary setup) -

Yeah, I have approximately the same response here. However, I find it surprising that you there in Brasil are able to have such good reception with lower elevation angles (thus relatively more 'hot earth') and more atmosphere.
Thumbs up!
