For some reason,at the low EB beacon my noiselevel is quite high, so no copy at the moment. Dish is Triax 95*85cm. I will do some tests with other dishes
Jerry
This noise is from Astra2 at 28.2e. Either your disk is slightly mispointed or it receives it due to not enough directivity. I have this noise as well on an 80cm dish so it is probably normal.
I am not interested in solving this because my objective is to receive the amateur transponders, not this beacon.

At the moment 11350 H
11350 H
All, couldn't this be BADR?
See, https://www.lyngsat.com/tvchan…New-Africa-TV-Somali.html
(although the 'source date' is very recent, so it may be that 11350H is connected to the wrong satellite on lyngsat)
Hi, also Lyngsat added 11350H for BADR7 https://www.lyngsat.com/Badr-7.html but in the offcial site 11350H is not present on the list for BADR7 11350H https://www.arabsat.com/englis…nels/arabsat-tv-and-radio...
So could be that in this sites are added this new MUX for BADR7, but could be really for Es'Hail2.

Roberto, I see, 11270 are 11390 (V) mentioned, not 11350 (H). So presumably the second part of my initial posting may apply, also because the entries are brand new. In other words: presumably a mistake.
I scan the transponders at least three times a day. There are other "anonymous" transponders and the first one was 11270H.
This transponder, 11350 H, is not yet completely configured and therefore we do not know "officially" who is transmitting it but ...
The channels it is broadcasting clearly indicate the frequency, the parameters and the satellite.
I8LYL former I0LYL : I see, so therefore my feeling is that the brand new Lyngsat entries are erroneous. Speaking of that ... when 'Suhail Sat 2' is supposed to refer to Es'hail-2 (cf this post) they didn't listen to Peter ; -)
every country writes it in his language...
Actually when translating official news releases and twitter posts made by eshailsat in Arabic using google translate or the translator used in twitter, it translates it to Suhail and "Suhail Sat 2".
So that is probably what Lyngsat used.
In Lyngsat (this afternoon) the reported channels by I8LYL former I0LYL were attributed to BADR-7 (iirc) on Jan 23th
there is another channel on this transponder that writes in Arabic and I do not understand anything.
The only thing I understand from the promo is that the broadcast will begin on 01/31/2019.
For what is public news, Melco delivers the satellite to the customer by January 2019.
If two plus two makes four, Es'hail-2 begins the official activities on January 31, 2019.
I8LYL former I0LYL : I'll try to verify that. So hopefully 'the silence' is gone in February ; -)
Interesting site of various SAT beacons frequencies:

11200 seems to be of BADR 7
I can only see carriers on 10.706 and 11.205 are the telemetrie data switched off during weekend?
