Es'hail-2 beacon frequency (non-amateur)

The beacon on 11205 MHz arrives very well too ..

10951.5 mhz vertical polarisation

At the moment (21:52 UTC) I have both the 10.706 beacon (with modulation) and the 11.205 beacon (but without PSK modulation) at the usual strength.

This is at V polarisation but I think the beacons are RHCP so that should not matter.

I don't have so many of those spurious lines, the empty spaces look like clean noise here, nothing inside the transponder band that I would mistake for a transmission.

Right now 11205 MHz good signal.

10951 received at this moment but weaker. My antenna is always pointed at 24 °

Confirm receiving good signal on 11205 MHz. The signal is unmodulated. I am in V polarisation. If i turn dish away from 24E then i lost this signal.

I can receive the 11205 beacon (V) and drift compensation with the beacon from 10706 shows no difference > same sat.

The 11205 beacon is very weaker here than the 10706 beacon.

My dish is still pointing at the badr sats on 26°

I receive it with an unmodified StarCom SR-3602 LNB and an SDRplay RSP1a.

An RTL stick should show similar receive sensitivity.

Is it an el-cheapo plastic one or the RTL-SDR.COM device in metal case?

Those I am certain to work at that frequency, the plastic ones may get a little hot.

To align the antenna connect a DVB-S receiver and tune for some FTA channel on Astra 3A. (23.5E)

I am using two of the RTL SDR Sticks in metal case with build in TCXO.

With normal sticks without tcxo i can not archive this excellent drift compensation with sofware.

A soon as EH2 is on its final position the dish (135cm) will be correct aligned.

What are you people with the 11205 signal using as hardware? I have an unmodified PLL LNB with RTLSDR behind and power injection.

check that it is indeed OL on 9750 MHz which is activated and not the 10600 MHz. it could explain the non functioning on 11205 MHz if it is the case. Personally I use the MKU LNC 10 OSCAR P4-A 9360 MHz local oscillator of DB6NT Kuhne Electronic. I am polarization H, but not important since the satellite receives in circular polarization, so in V it not so.

Little mistake. The satellite transmits but does not listen to the beacon (hi) ... sri ...
