I am trying to use a LNB for listening to EME on 10368, I have removed the 25Mhz crystal and fitted a cable and SMA connector to the body of the LNB.
The unit I am using is a LSP-IT-02 by X2, by altering the LO frequency to 25.477+-, I can get the IF to 432 from 618Mhz, sadly the overall gain drops in the order of 20db. In the attached photo there is several devices in the chain from IC to F type connectors which I cannot identify, along with the PCB choke that may affect the output level. Has anyone had experience of altering the IF out to 432Mhz? if so do you have tips on doing so
