HELP Please pluto + tx connection

    Hi All , I am using a ic9700 with dx patrol up and down converters , and a dx patrol amp (no vox) .. ptt was simple to set up, Now i want to change my setup and free the 9700 from qo 100 ,

    I thought a pluto + would be a good idea, But now ran in to problems , searching the net i can find no help on how to connect the tx from pluto to a dx patrol amp ?.


    Pluto + connected to CN4071 , gives me around 65mw output , all i need now is how send tx signal to the amp .


    Anyone able to give me a dummies guide to the pluto , The old brain is not able to learn new tricks

    There are a number of ways that you could achieve a PTT line.


    Depending on your version of firmware you are using in the Pluto you could build and install a small PTT board that fits inside the Pluto and if used with SDR Console you then have a PTT output

    These relays can again be configured in the relay section of SDR Console to give you a PTT output


    I have used both options and they work for me.

    Thanks for that , so the pluto plus uses the same items as the Adlam pluto , Need to order a relay to finish this of then , Here i was thinking it would be an easy change over , now thinking twice , is it worth this hassle lol ,, Anywhere in UK to get the parts ?.


    How do i find out what software it is running ? .

    Ok firstly is it an Adlam Pluto or is it a Chinese copy? As this may make a difference as to the best way to go about it.


    What Software are you planning to use?


    If its SDR Console use a USB relay around £7 - £10 from amazon or ebay


    See https://www.sdr-radio.com/relays to make sure your buy a compatibly relay as they are not all the same.


    All you need to do in SDR Console is enable the relay and off you go

    It is the plus the Chinese COPY , Some say they are better than the adlam pluto ?. and it is connected over lan , all working in sdr console,
