hallo guten abend ich möchte auch mittels adalm plut qrv werden, nun hätte ich aber einige fragen.

ich habe einen 100 cm spiegel und nun möchte ich wissen welche Komponenten man braucht um mit einem adalm Pluto

als SDR qrv zu werden. Welches LNB wo bekommt man die Komponenten. Danke für die Hilfe

Hallo,

eben habe ich den Amazon Ethernetadapter für Fire TV und Fire TV Stick am Pluto angesteckt und er funktioniert.

Der Adapter benötigt keinen zusätzlichen OTG-Adapter und hat eine Micro-USB-Buchse für ein externes Netzteil, mit dem der Pluto versorgt werden kann.

The IP is just an example. Assign a fixed IP in the host with the same subdomain and subnetmask.

when edit the config and restart the Pluto the changes are gone?
What do you mean by 'the same subdomain' please?
What am I missing please?

Hi Uwe,

after each modification to the config file, do not restart but expel Adalm Pluto from Windows (Eject the USB Drive) as when you want to disconnect a USB Hard Disk or a PenDrive.

Edit, Save and then Eject the USB Drive

Hi in our Adalm Project in our Clubstation we switch off the power Supply for the Pluto after working with it.
Does the Ethernet-Settings still be active after the next switch ON ?
Yesterday we tried a Config Change with setting a static IP for USB-Ethernet and after a later reboot
all settings are default.
Does it really hold the settings, when I only Edit, Save and Eject after a later reboot?

The pluto does not hold the settings unless you configured it to in that config file. Normally the router will assign the same IP to the same MAC address, unless you told it to do something different. This is usually the best way to ensure the IP remains the same.

don't mix the Console Settings with the Plutos. The Adalm Pluto has a LINUX-System with some environmental variables that are changeable.

There a two different ways to connect the Pluto with a host. Using DHCP with a router don't modify anything. In case of direct connection to a host, fix IPs for the Pluto and the host are necessary, see above example. Modify ippaddr_eth only. Additional at the host the Pluto's IP is required as standard gateway in the settings.

After a restart, the Pluto-system uses default values. In normal operation this doesn't happen.
