? Lässt sich das mit der SDRConsole ausgleichen ?
Danke

Hello,
Is this "Flachantenne" usable for downlink ?
Any experience with such an antenna ? Other manufacturer are e.g. SelfSat, Telestar, EsoSat, Humax, .....
Many thanks

Hello,
SDR Console Pluto and carrier suppression
My equipment is SDR-Console -> PLUTO -> Bandfilter (2.4GHz) -> 2* SPF5189
Now I have the possibility to receive this signal with an Norsat 2500 2.4GHz to 144MHz Satellite Down Converter into RSP1A with SDR-Console on another PC.
If microphone is mute and TX ON I see the carrier. He disappears when TX OFF.
If microphone is unmute I see the carrier between my speech.
The carrier is abt. 30-35dB down. Any chance to optimize this ??
Many thanks

Hello,
Pluto is near the antenna on the balcony. I have two ways to connect the device to a PC:
20m Ethernet with adapters or 20m USB 2.0 Active Extension (e.g. https://www.lindy.co.uk/cables…2-0-active-extension-p510). What is the difference ? In either case I need a line.
Is it also possible to connect the Pluto via WLAN/WiFi. Any experience ?
Thanks

Hi Stephen,
you can find some radiation pattern of flat antennas here: http://www.antennenfabrik.de/w…ent/uploads/RA_gesamt.pdf

DH2VA you are not paranoid ....
you do not necessarily require a compass. With https://www.dishpointer.com/ you can find some prominent points.

Hi Oliver,
Turn the antenna approximately in the direction of the satellite, transmit on a known uplink frequency, then controll the associated downlink frequency with WebSDR (http://websdr.is0grb.it:8901/ or https://eshail.batc.org.uk/nb/).
Turn the antenna to find your signal. If signal is strongest, you have the correct direction. OK ?
