Today I have measured with my spectrum analyzer the power output from the PLUTO with the QO-100 Linux transceiver software running on a Raspberry PI4.
Power setting on the software at 0 dbm, that should be the maximum power output from the Adalm Pluto.
It's not easy to determine the real peek power modulating in SSB, it would be usefull to have a TUNE command like in SDR-Console, however with a normal level of conversation I measured from -20 to -9 dbm on the analyzer, but never near 0 dbm or something more.
With the 800Hz tone the power output is exactly -32 dbm.
The level of this tone should be adjustable in some way, as it is practically useless as is, it's just too low.
Some time ago, with other softwares I measured around +10 dbm maximum power from the Pluto and in fact I had to put a 10dbm attenuator in front of my PA3AXA 20W RF Amplifier.
There are really +/- 20 dbm missing somewhere....
I will try to add a 20dbm "chinese" LNA SPF5189Z and see what happens.
