cannot understood your choice. Mintioune is more sensible, compared with the dvb-gui and more easy to use. I recognize the great job of Markro, He has done something of special. But facts are clear, in my opinion there are some important imrovement to do in future. I don't know exactly if the DVBT Keys will be have the same performance of SERIT NIM Tuners, that was built exactly to receive the SAT band.
hello I abandoned MiniTioune V2, with passion I'm checking the new dvb-s2 new program 2.0.12, with great pleasure now I receive the constellation, compared to the previous 2.0.11 a lot of effort, the passion pushes me in this program !! and I ask SWL - markro92 if possible in the future I can find a system to automatically activate the video, in the Linus system thanks to Nico de Roo gave me the opportunity to see, also the MiniTioune system has the video activation automatically, the only thing pleases in this is to see nice DVB-S2, now everyone is making an effort now that you don't see the vertical line, I wouldn't want some people to leave ...

Good morning,
I prepared a tool to determine frequency in dvbgui, usable in Excel or in Open Office sheet. The tool is very simple, you have to insert "LO" (Local Oscillator Frequency) in a cell, and after insert the frequency readout in the BATC Wideband spectrum, over the peak of a signal. The tool eill get the frequancy that you have to insert in the dvbsgui.

it's so difficult to receive confirmation in HF, on Oscar-100, after 30 Qso, only three confirmed. Someone tell about possibility to reach DXCC with QO-100, but continuing on this way it will be possible in 100 years, more or less...

I think this amp is also configured as a dohery type. The LDMOS in the middle of the PCB is the main amp an the one to the Corner is the Peak amp.
If you supply the 28V and measure only abt 1,9A current and only the main amp gets warm then you are sure. The gate bias on the main is about 2V, on the peak amp bias about 1,8V.
If properly "snowflaked" you can expect about 30% of the rated CW power on 2,4GHz with a relatively poor effectivity of abt 20-25%. If this LDMOS are the -130 types then expect not than 85W from that amp.

Sure! In the picture you'll see my homemade "connectors" using dual row, 2mm spaced pin array. Covered with hot melt glue. Original SMP output was located on the right of the circulator, ugly replacement SMA soldered instead.
Could not find a SMP mating connector so I let it go.Hi,
have you some information about modification and power supply for this amp ?

Just for curiosity, has 9700 the "Frequency Transverter" capability like TS2000 ?
This is very good to set up frequency indicator to 10.490.xxx and 2400.xxx for a "right" frequency information.

the RHCP polarization is right, WB and NB trasnponders have the same polarizzation, but keep in mind that the feeder must be LHCP, due to "mirror" effect of the dish that change polarization. Furthermore if you are using a helix feed, this can be user for both transponders, but it's clear that when you transmitting on WB, you cannot do the same on NB, and viceversa (but if you have two TX dish, yes).

another idea to reduce. The combination of LNB with horn and a scanner was used to check a location because of trees and buildings which prevent receiving.
The CW-Beacon helps to find a gap.
