i have moved the polarisation by about 30degrees on the LNB ... so i can see the activity on both transponders.

comparision NOISEFLOOR NB with v-pol 739MHZ then switched to h-pol 745+-4 MHZ is WIDEBAND TP.
BW in picture seen by GQRX is 20MHZ.

i made a reference scan in TV BAND with my small 85cm dish now and I can see some peaks in the spectrum from BADR 5,6 and 7 .... thats normal but no TV-Signal lock.
Maybe you can use it for reference.... without Es'Hail 2....
if he is switched on we can compare if there is anything to see "out of footprint" in the TV band in central DL.
I got locked for DVB-S/S2 ...today ...
1 Transponder on BADR7 10970 V (NW AFRICA BEAM), the other locked Transponders are from BADR 4 (BSS and FSS BEAM...).
BTW i receive the 10706 Beacon from ES'Hail2 with linear LNB H-POL at around 38dB S/N @ 65536 FTT bins at 1.024MSps (so BW is 15Hz) with RTL-SDR V3 with SDR#.
This means an S/N @ 1HZ BW of +12dB so at around 50dBHz.
Dani EA4GPZ heas measured on my recording with LINRAD 51.5dBHz.
Maybe some other can also publish there receiving parameters/results.
(DISHSIZE,LNB,S/N with SDR Parameters -SR/FFT)

To get this version of LNBs it is more difficult... you need a bit of luck to get the right model some mixed versions are in the market.
I have got the right ones after asking at satshop24 in the end of 2017 but not sure i they are on stock anymore.

i have made a test in March2018...with DVB-S Satellite reception
but NOTE to get the maximum sensitivity of receiver you need the LDPC decoder this was not impemented in March 2018... more Info about progess maybe here

But nice to see the progress if the plugin support DVB-S2 now?

my "experimental" solution for NB uplink...
SDR TX with LIME SDR (at first with max 10W out @ 60cm PF DISH) ....using some more gain after the LIMESDR and an narrowband TX FILTER @ 2.4G
Info about the video:
TX: Odroid XU4Q, Ubuntu Mate 18.04, Gnuradio 3.7.11, gr-limesdr, test-tx flowgraph by dg0opk capture via VNC REMOTE
RX (monitor):
MiniPC I7-7700T, Ubuntu 16.04, Adalm-Pluto, GQRX TX frequency: 2402MHz
used modes in the video:
-USB(liveaudio from soundcard with mic connected) delay around 0.5s
-AUDIOLOOP (from WAV file)
-PSK(LOOP), CW(LOOP), NOISE, 1KHZ SINE --- from gnuradio flowgraph
other modes are possible :
-WSJT,WSJTx (..FT8,JT65,JT9....) or FLDIGI via virtual audio (pulseaudio server) installed on the ODROID XU4
IMPORTANT NOTE: ... this was a first test ......
BECAUSE THIS TEST IS ON UPLINK FREQUENCY for AMSAT P4A... I AM USING NO ANTENNA BUT A DUMMY LOAD IN THE HAM RADIO SHACK!

Hallo all...
over the holiday time i spent some more time on my project ...
SDR UPLINK TX .... with LIMESDR.
(maybe possible also with ADALM PLUTO...needs mod with TCXO..pse give information about).
For the test i use as SDR-TX the ODROID XU4Q and the LIMESDR-USB with an GNURADIO FLOWGRAPH. With this setup it is possible to TRANSMIT LIVE (delay around 0.5s) from an Mic connected on an USB soundcard (SB16).
Some more testsignals (audio loop, cw loop,pskloop...) were generated in the GNURADIO FLOWGRAPH. Digital Modes are possible via virtual soundcards in pulseaudio direct on the system.
The OS is Ubuntu Mate 18.04 armhf for Odroid XU4.
Monitor receiver is on an other PC with the ADALM-PLUTO and GQRX. CPU load of the ODROID is shown right in the TOP of the VNC-window (Odroid XU4)
Note:
This is a first test an 2402MHZ and i used an DUMMYLOAD in the SHACK...!!

some is written about the effects with digitally controlled TCXO... and the solution is delivered from G0MRF end of 2015 in AMSAT JOURNAL (sri OSCAR NEWS i think) and verified by dg0opk 04/2017.
