DK1KQ you can use both, but I recommend you using MT V2. this had maybe options for future use.

DL3DCW yes you can connect the Pluto via Lanadapter to your network. Here it works perfect.
-
pa1kek Giovanni, when you select the button q-beacon or sr1500 again, you should get the video.
-
pa1kek As I can see in your screenshot the valure of C/N MER is 3,5 dB (left one beside constellations). Right one beside constellations you see a MER of more than 4,68 dB is needed to decode.

Darko, you find this cheaper here:

EI2GLB Question 1-3 no, question 4 yes: the position should be finding the strongest RX signal from the satellit. do not optimize the TX signal.

hb9hci Andreas hier zwei links für dich.
Beide Antennen wurden von OMs erfolgreich schon beschrieben:

SV1BDS George many thanks for your proposal. AMSAT-DL will discuss this internally. We have already ideas we are working on, but need to do some implementation tests before we go finally public. The overall goal is to provide more user benefits on the HI beacon. Please stay tuned on this.

EI2GLB Trevor the only thing I know is that you should only run the Pluto with one power source. So wenn you connect the Pluto with an ethernet adapter you need a extra power supply. If you are using the Pluto with usb connection do not use an additional power supply, because the voltage comes over the usb cable. Thats all I know.

IK8OZV Enzo I just checked my two boards and two displays.
On the displays SDA and SCL to GND or VCC minimum around 500KOhm so no pull up resistor on the display board.
JP3 on my boards:
Between GND and SDA or SCL nothing to measure.
Between VCC and SDA I see the 3.38 KOhm
Between VCC and SCL I see the 5.74 KOhm
My conclusion is your board should be ok and it looks the fault is on the display board.
-
IK8OZV Enzo, I will do the same measurements tomorrow on my board and keep you updated.
-
EI2GLB Trevor do not use a mash dish. for 13cm that is ok but normaly not for 10Ghz. It should be a solid one for use. Whether fiber or metall is a question what you want to spend and weight. with 1m size it should be ok. So I recommend if you want to have it quickly go with the 1m solid one.

IK8OZV Enzo do the following please:
1. disconnect display and power from minitiouner. Collect the OHM values on JP3 between SDA to GND and Vcc. The same please do with SCL to GND amd VCC.
2. Do the same with the display as writen above.
then we can continue.
You can also look on the SCL and SDA lines while the display is connected and the minitiouner is under power with an ozilloscope.
I expect you see a difference.
Also you can read the values of the two resistors on the board which are right of JP3. theire values should be the same.
-
but you cannot use the diode, because SDA send an acnowlegde back,
-
my proposal is the same. but now do it for the SDA pin.
-
IK8OZV Enzo look here:
The VCC of the display to the VCC of the Minitiouner Pro2 Connector JP3
The DATA of the display to the SDA of the Minitiouner Pro2 Connector JP3
The TC/CLK of the display to the SCL of the Minitiouner Pro2 Connector JP3 that PIN I mean
The GND of the display to the GND of the Minitiouner Pro2 Connector JP3
-
sorry scl = sck
any diode 1n4148 or compartible will be fine
-
IK8OZV Enzo, that looks like the load on the I2C bus when you connect the display drops down the clock signal. On the same interface the serrit tuner is connected. That means with this impact the tuner has no good clock signal.
If you put off the display I think you should see different Ohm values between SCK and SDA versus ground or VCC.
You can test this easyly with an Ohm meter. So it looks something is strange with the display. To avoid this without buying a new display you can try to put a diode between SCK pin of JP3 (cathode) to SCK on the display (anode) toavoid a feedback into the I2C bus. The display is only getting SCK as an input. It is just a proposal with a 50/50% chance for the display. Just try and post again.

IK8OZV Enzo please post what you finally have found as the root cause... pefect.. glad to see that it is working now..

Ed if you go to the page stored in the pluto there you find thew setting page.
