pe1chl Yes I am aware of this.. but the big advantage is that you can exclude the issue of ground loops.
-
oh2aue Michael look here for the EXPRESS board..
Charles G4GUO is handling the europe stock.
The kit is from BATC with membership..this is a different story.
-
And in addition if you are in doubt with your power supply try it with a power bank instead.

oh2aue Michael.. first of all the Mini-Tiouner-EXPRESS ist fully assembled you only must connect your LNB and USB to PC and install the software from Jean-Pierre. So nothing happens with your spare time.
The SUP-2400 Converter is used by HAMs as an upconverter for DATV from 70m up to 70cm. As stated in the name the LO is 2400 MHz. here is a good link how they use it.

oh2aue Michael I will check the data and when we can use them I have possibilities in the US.. for easy shipment

PA3FYM Thanks for your hints..

PA3FYM I am just building nearly the same solution with NEO-7M. I set the software to 10MHz the LED of the NEO board blinks one per second when there is no lock and with 10MHz, what means always on, when it is locked.

DL5RDI Johannes, there are two modifications in the internet. I choose the one like on the picture. I will attach the link here. this modification is from the overall approach the best out of my view. The added copper pieses discribed in the other approach my be needed in addition. My PA is under construction at the moment. I will post pictures and measurements soon.
