I observed the same problem today, but my Pluto has the GND modification and I am powering with a 5.2 V / 3A power supply.

So most common reasons should have been avoided.

If you are able to receive the normal TV programs the MT itself is in working condition.

But what has this to do with the EPG data? I did not get it...

For the first alignment BBC Arabic is a good starting point, not on Es´hail-2 but close enough on Badr4.

For fine tuning later on the beacon can be used.

Normally a KU-Band LNB for a prime focus antenna looks this way:

The groove feed is used to bundle the received signals from the antenna again and "forward" them directly to the LNB. Without the groove feed, reception in the C-band is hardly possible. While the groove feed is suitable for Prime Focus antennas, a funnel groove feed should be used for an offset antenna. Not only do these look similar to a funnel, but they also behave in the same way on offset antennas.

Everything which is blocked can not be transmitted.

So if you put it after the PA it will eliminate all rf (ok, mostly) outside the bandpass.

If you put it before the PA all mixing products which can occur in the amplifier will go to the antenna.

So I would recommend the installation after the PA.

Hi,

quite easy, this LNB has NO internal switch and delivers H low, H high, V low and V high, each on a single F connector.

So one connector for NB and one for WB.

For distribution in a house you need an external multiswitch.
