Wkd 127 unique callsigns and 15 confirmations via LOTW. 48 DXCC wkd and 13DXCC confirmed. Not a single DL confimration via LOTW of my 26 unique DL-callsings wkd.
Wkd 2 S5 calls and both confirmed via LOTW one is you

Hi Frank
thank you - i am courios what version the "new" 2424B has.
Did you try if you can switch the LO to 4 ,5, 6 or 7 ? If "yes" then maybe also an input in 70cm band is possible - like in the 2424B.....but that's just speculation

Hello,
can someone who has the "New" 2424 B please read out the software version (it's command "V" via RS232) - it's just to compare to the software version of the "old" updated 2424A.

P.s. I still did not read out the version of my 2424A - but I will poste my result as soon as I have it - was bussy to drill the hole and make the cabeling for the 10MHz Ref input (6,5mm hole for standard SMA-jack, centered 10,5mm from the left edge of the housing - that's the corresponding postion in the 2424B).
Here is the link to the suitable cable with the SMA Jack and the IPX plug for 1€:

maybe because the price difference to a cheap GPSDO is not very big....
Hello Frank,
I also got no instruction how to use the REF input. My Email concerning this was answerd that "the manual is still in work" and will be avalilable later as download on the DB6NT Web-site.
I also opened up my converter and saw the same like you. So let's wait for the instruction to download and for source for a (cheap) cable with the fitting connector.

Hallo,
Servus Johannes
No, not a IC9700, but a FT817, a FT290RII, a TR751 and a TS2000x.
Should also be possible in an IC9700

...or just "modify" your TRX to send 12V+ via the coax when the PTT is pushed. I did it this way to avoid additional cable works.

Skew angle (in EU) is conter clock wise (CCW). That means: You "sit" in the dish and are looking towards the satellit (in the sky) over your LNB. From this point of view turn it 13° counter clock wise.

Hello Kurt,
many (but not all) sat receivers can receive down to 2k symbols, thus there is a good chance that you can see it with your "normal" receiver. But be aware that there a reports of "problems" with the Amsat RX converter and reception of the WB-tansponder. (RX without convertr OK - with converter no WB RX at all).

Hello Kurt,
much easier would be to bring the 240V AC with a cheap 3x2,5°2 to the outdoor box and position the powersupply(s) there.

Will the lectures be "broadcasted" live via the video transponder ?
Would be a nice feature for all OMs who can not attend the sessions in person.

...hope the old RSP 1 (without "A") will also be supported
73 de Johannes
no TCXO
Thus I better use a converted LNB for external reference input, thus I have QRG-stability and I can adjust the output-QRG by changing the LO-QRG from the external reference.

You also could try to remove the input and output switching diodes (not needed anymore when you already modified for TX-only) and solder small pieces of wire instead. I read an article stating this gives you 1.5dB more output.
...but all very small SMD
