yes, I could convince Simon to implement the drift correction as I could refer to your excellent work !

In 3.0.8 the problem with the RIT is corrected and now works fine.

We are presently discussing some other modifications with respect to the RIT which should make it even more user friendly ...

DD4YR, are you sure ?.

I think the 2 Helixes act as an array and have a joint focus point which is right between the 2 helices. Thus it should fit very well.

Dear all,

I am presently in touch with a company selling satfinders, which also include the capability to display the video and provide the audio output.

I need transport stream files for 125 kSps, 250kSps and 333kSps for some testing / development purpose.

Could someone here please provide me such streams as we would use them on QO-100 ?

I am presently away from home and thus cannot generate them myself.

I have placed mine together with the feed into a plastic tube.

Here is a description of my head unit which includes the modified Octagon LNB (exchanged the crystals with TCXOs) and the dualband feed.

Sorry it is in German ...

In Ebay ist eine gute Quelle, da gibt es die Tube für 5 Euro und wenn Du mehrere nimmst, dann gibt es sogar einen Rabatt.

Hi,

recently I made some measurements of the drift of the Pluto SDR after TX start. It was quite substantial an IMHO prohibts using it for FT8. Even for CW and SSB it will require the receiving station to constantly tune his receiver which I do not want ...

Here are some graphs of my measurements:

The next step is to try to disable the internal 40 MHz reference and supply it from an external GPSDO. Hopefully that will solve the problem.
