Hi Jan,
I fully agree, as long as there is no low cost VNA covering the 13cm band available which provides a Smith-chart this VNA is certainly a good choice.
Kind regards
Matthias

Yes, but as far as I know it is not supporting Smith-Charts which is IMHO a big drawback

Hallo,
13cm:

Luis,
this makes no sense.
A LNB which is connected to an antenne using a coaxial cable is not sensitive to any polarization.
It just takes the signals which come from the antenna, whichever polarization the antenna may have.
If you like we can take this discussion offline as it does not fit at all in this forum.
You can find my email adress on my website.

Hi,
please explain a bit more detailed what you want to accomplish.
The second diagram you posted where you want to connect a DC power supply and an oscilloscope via a PL-Tee to an amplifier does not make any sense ...Kind regards

Hallo Thorsten,

Hi Kurt,
your device must be defective.
Here are some measurements I did on such a coupler: Characterization of Chinese directional coupler

Dear all,
I also finished building an amplifier based on the Andrews module with the MRF21045.
Special thanks to DK5DN for publsihing his modifications which worked perfectly well for me.
You can find my setup and the results here: Modification of Andrew AP module with MRF21045 for 2.4 GHz
Kind regards

Dear all,
I have also built one of the amplifiers with the MHT1008N based on the design by DJ0ABR and DC1RJJ.
Enclosed you can find my measurement results: 2.4GHz medium power amplifier MHT1008N
Thank you very much to Arved M0KDS for providing the populated PCB.
Kind regards

Hallo DL3DCW,
