Great ! Thank you.

Well done ! Could you tell me how to order one please ? Do you have the invoice ?
My email is amsatdl@time-step.com
Thanks Dave
I actually got the original material with the original design number D82111 from the original manufacturer MTL in Shenzen.
Was this the PCB ready to assemble ?
I can't see it on that page without paying ?
12dB weaker that an 60cm ?
maybe because the price difference to a cheap GPSDO is not very big....
Or maybe no one knows how much it is anyway, let alone how to buy one ?
Display Moresee here: https://de.farnell.com/search?st=MCXO
About 50€ but unfortunately a suitable frequency (25/27) MHz is not in the list.
But the technical data looks very impressive.

I was looking at above as requested. I'll leave this thread as it's going nowhere.
Those are less accurate than the one I proposed ?
Dave
I think this is a syntax issue ?
BTW how much are they ?
73's Dave
Yes, I documented here the Si Time 0.1ppm fitted inside my LNB

Oh great ! Why not here ?
Dave
I agree but that is not an answer that is universal. SSB is not the only mode being used via OQ-100 so it depends. If you are doing DATV, which is where you need the larger powers this amplifier can generate, you might need more bias, or not, there is a sweet spot between current and spectral regrowth.
I specified SSB so it is correct. Please don't nick pick !
The bias level is a compromise between efficiency and linearity. Need to find the sweet spot.
For SSB Class AB is quite sufficient. No need for nearly Class A.
Currently I use the 30W Spectrian module which is probably not much more than 20W at 2.4Ghz.
___________
Mine is 26W out of the box. Just turn down the bias on PA and driver and it runs much cooler. Also only command it on when transmitting.
Simples !
Dave
The above solutions are good. The easiest, non-destructive and safest way, is to simply use 2 dishes ?
Hi Dave,
the best result with my various comparisons between offsetdish, patch antenna and helix feed.
OK, got that. Which patch feeds did you try ?
Dave
OK, but you said "best results" and I'm not sure how you came to that conclusion without comparing it directly ?
I am a member of AMSAT NA.
In this issue they talk about innovation, however transponding geostationary satellites have been around for 50 years, yes 50 years !
For the second edition running there is no mention of QO100/Es'hail.
Do they consider it's not of any interest ? How parochial can they get ? Maybe they do not actually believe in their Mission Statement on page 2 ?
