English version is running fine - I assume Erich will publish a new German version in the near future.

Hi Forum
I have a strange issue with the IC-9700 & SatPC32 combo.
When running SatPC32 ((06/2019) to control my IC-9700 (FW 1.11), the downlink channel always uses the D-mode (USB-D, FM-D) instead the regular mode (USB, FM).
I can switch via the front-panel to USB/FM but selecting the next satellite switches back to D-mode.
I've resetted the IC-9700 to factory defaults and reconfigured the IC-9700 according the presets from DK1TB http://www.dk1tb.de/IC9700_settings_dt.htm - same behaviour.
Erich DK1TB, the autor of SatPC32, has no idea what causes this behaviour - but he's running FW 1.06 on his IC-9700 - maybe this causes the behaviour?!
Has anybody tested and/or experienced a similiar issue?

The classic issue - i8n and NLS

Import-/Export-files should be never NLS dependent :-/

Hi Roger
I'm also running FW 1.11 and CS9700 in V1.10.
I have an idea - can you please post the file, you was able to load, here in the forum?!
-
I used the import function when the "Satellite/Satellie memory" section is selected in the tree - works without problems?!
Attached you find my current sat memory exported from CS9700.

PH2M Frank many thanks for the settings!

Hi Forum
has somebody already entered the various HAM satellites into his IC-9700 SAT-memory and is willing to share the list with us/me?
A CSV-export file from CS-9700 application would be great!

Hi Clive

Hi Forum
any suggestions for an azimut/elevation ratotor?
I assume the currently available ones are
- YAESU G5500
- SPID RAS
- Prosistel PST2051D-PRO + PST2051E COMBO
The SPID looks a little bit "hand-made" and the YAESU seems to be no longer available in the EU?!
Any suggestions?

Current status on my POTY
It worked ~100mW at the dish and five SSB-QSOs done today - these guys had good ears!
Now another preamp in front of the WIFI booster is necessary to get more power to the dish ...

I'll come back to the DB4UM design - has someone build this PA in the meantime?

Congrats Wolfgang - this is also my target setup - currently struggling with my available time ... and some Chinese amps ...//Dietmar

When I check the hf-satcom plot he measured >30dB return loss:
[Blocked Image: https://uhf-satcom.com/storage/blog/patch/RL_actual.png]
But yes, you're right I will try transmitting over QO-100 and optimize later ...

Thanks OMs for ultra fast reply!
The analyser is directly coupled to the feed with an SMA M-M - when I use a 1m Hyperflex the 1.8GHz dip is still there.
Fine tuning will be done by bending - I'll try it later, when I've installed it at the dish.
But when I check the origin, I also have this double-dip but far more deep >30dB compared to my week 11dB - but maybe as proposed fine-tuning will help.
Thanks again!

Hi Group
I've build a POTY from Hans - I'm pretty sure, that I've done it right please no comments on my soldering skills on this type of hardware.
But the return loss plot is a little bit strange.
Anyone has a hint, what I've done wrong - the plate distance is 3mm ...

Wolfgang - hand wound chokes or some commercial products?

Hi Forum
maybe I'm blind, but I didn't find any information how to perform a TX frequency calibration on my LimeSDR mini (inside SDR-Console 3.0.7).
The TX frequency is about 200Hz too low.
Any help is appreciated!
