I scan the transponders at least three times a day. There are other "anonymous" transponders and the first one was 11270H.

The channels it is broadcasting clearly indicate the frequency, the parameters and the satellite.
I really like this solution. This ensures us a good stability on the downlink. But what happens if an uplink station is not stable in the same way? We are forced to follow the correspondent and our reception stability is relative.

Hi Hans,
I do not think there are any problems getting the SSB with an unmodified LNB. The problem could arise with digital signals, with the beacon. But if we do not have the active transponder we can not see the limits of the receiving system.
I mounted a 100 cm dish that is probably too much. We wait and then analyze the various, any problems.

I am also very satisfied with this RTL-SDR V3 with a ridiculously low price.
The FCDPro + is definitely better and optimized for the 144 and 432 MHz. It covers the HF. But for frequencies above 1000 MHz the dongles with RTL2832U work better than FCDPro + and I reported this to Howard as well
