Hi,
GRC updated.
Hi,
GRC updated.
Hi,
A screenshot for trying to measure doppler. GNURadio is used. Time is local UTC+3.
DL5LF Thanks for remind me this, I have forgot it ...
Updated block diagram.
Hi,
The Pluto is running now from 10 to 40 MHz multiplier. A 100 ohm resistor is put on output (40 MHz) in parallel. Using longer coax cables it was not needed. The same result may be occured if L6 is omitted.
Now there are two stations in parallel with common LNB and same output stage. The Pluto station is end to end GPSDO based.
Hi,
Pluto modified for external clock using the UFL method. At -33 dBm with 40 MHz clock, it is stop working.
thank George

iw5bsf if you try it tell me the results.
Hi,
Helix antenna is updated adding ground as it was small. A few (2-3) dB is gained.
ok 3.5 Amper
The IRF4905 circuit must be OK if you use a heatsink for it and a 7808 or similar solution for 8V.
Hi,
A USB GNURadio tranceiver is build for QO100 using Pluto via LAN. Feutures:
- direct frequency entry from 2* waterfall
- imidiate frequency change
- RIT
- PPM corection
- PTT switch (no Tx power controll...)
- full band waterfall
- 16 KHz waterfall @ received frequency
- audio FFT
Display MoreHi, a pluto question. I try to setup a USB2.0 Ethernet AX88772 adapter but it does work. I try the adapter to my PC and it works. I also use a tested OTG adapter. Power is feeding the Ethernet adapter. The problem is that it does not light the ethernet link led at my switch. I put this config :
[USB_ETHERNET]
ipaddr_eth = 192.168.1.99
netmask_eth = 255.255.255.0
Any ideas - proposals ?
Hi
After a lot of tests, a reflow on the Ethernet adapter IC solved the problem.
Hi,
The circuit diagram of the optimized design. With 15 dBm input -10 dBm is produced.
Hi,
This is a LAB version of a 10 MHz to 40 MHz (*4) multiplier for using it to clock the Pluto. It is passive. It is a multiplier by 2 using a bifilar bead and two BAT85 , a 2 * 20 MHz xtal filter and one more similar by 2 multiplier. It was not tested for driving Pluto yet.
iw5bsf what is the total current of all these stages?
Hi,
A 4 way 25 MHz splitter is build to drive the ADF4351 and SI5351A LAB generators except the two existing ADF4350 for QO100.
SP3OSJ Have you measure SWR at UHF ? 6.8 pF has a low resistance at UHF. I try 5 pF and I have 1:2 SWR. My proposal is to have different values for each band.
Hi,
A VOX circuit to provide PTT from 1W SSB UHF without power supply.
iw5bsf you can use a simple circuit with a mosfet to control amplifier voltage via PTT. There are circuits available at the forum.
My proposal (not tested):
Hi interesting George, a question that I have to check with my tx's ptt if the 144MHz tx transverter then in sequence the 500 milliwatts to drive the amplifier andrews and what voltage should be sent in tx 28v or polarization bias irq?

Sorry I can not understand you.
Hi, anyone try this 1W amplifier ?
Hi,
The amplifier was lab tested. I get +28 dBm (640 mW) that is the maximum output power. It needs a heat sink under the PCB for operation. It seems it has about 30 dB gain with good linearity. You have to put +5V at EN pin to operate as was mentioned. It seems a nice solution for directly driven by Pluto.
Hi,
In the circuit diagram you write ADE24MH instead of ADE25MH.
