Hi Roberto, I use 1 m dish with a 3W output. The previous test are with attenuator at shack. For more precise tests I use now a 20 dB attenuator , so I use 30 mW. It works fine. Communication was also possible (not error free) with about 10 dB more attenuation i.e. 3 mW !!!

Hi Roberto, I tested also with new version with similar results !!!
It is a feature not a bug !!!

Hi Roberto, I test it with the old version. I will test it again with the new one.

Hi,
I try QRP WINLINK using VARA modem. I use unlicenced version and communication is possible at very very low SNR. Practicaly it is not possible to see the signal at websdr or my receiver using waterfall.

Hi, anyone has experience using Amiko L107 or its clone Opticum Robust LSP-02G?
I found this link.

Hi, two more Amiko L107 was modified for external 25 MHz with similar results. No wobbling was noticed yet. SNR was about the same.

Hi, testing the new dual feeder with the Amiko L107 using the spare 80 cm dish. Is about 10 dB down from my 1 m dish due to : more loosy cable 1-2 dB, 3-4 dB due to dish and the rest must be due to offset from focal point of dish. Receiving is fine.

Hi, a Amiko L108 was also evaluated. The plastic case is NOT possible to be closed again. It is permanetly soldered and if is opened it is destroyed and is NOT possible to be hermaticaly closed again. Also the PCB that exists between metal cases is NOT sealeded with silicone. This must not be a problem if is used unmodified. Internally it has a 25 MHz xtal under the PCB. The only usage that I can think is with a POTY. I do not try to put external 25 MHz reference. It has good SNR, stability and woobling unmodified.

Hi, a Amiko L107 was modified for external 25 MHz reference.
Results similar to Amstrad F101 was noticed (may be a little better wobbling).
Attention must be given not to shortcircuit the L+C with the case.

I try to setup a USB2.0 Ethernet AX88772 adapter but it does work. I try the adapter to my PC and it works (it is really a AX88772 ). I also use a tested OTG adapter. Power is feeding the Ethernet adapter. The problem is that it does not light the ethernet link led at my switch. I put this config :
[USB_ETHERNET]
ipaddr_eth = 192.168.1.99
netmask_eth = 255.255.255.0
Any ideas - proposals ?

Hi, using a similar antenna from a TV transmitter take about 2 dB down from 3 turns helical in a 1m offset dish.

Hi Roberto, it seems that you have 21.87 dB coupling and 35.89 dB directivity that are good values. You can verify with AD8302 these values if you put in generator -10dBm. You can measure the ratio for coupling and directivity. Also you can repeat my fault measurement and then put attenuators to fix it. The coupling value means that you have the forward power 20 dB less and the directivity value that you can not measure less SWR than 35 dB i.e. about 1:1.1
-
Hi Roberto, you have to measure the coupling and directivity of your directional coupler. If you can find instructions on the Internet it's OK, else tell me to try to give instructions.
-
Hi Roberto, you have to solder coupling not only at the edges but all over the two cables without the solder goes to the window. Do you have two 8dB and two 5 dB attenuator ? Also what is the minimum level of your generator ? Do you have any terminators/dummy load for 2.4 GHz?
-
Hi Roberto, the AD8302 arrived ? Can you measure coupling and directivity of the directional coupler ? Your analyzer have tracking at 2.4 GHz ? What attenuators you have? Can you post a photo of your construction?

Hi, testing QO100 with SSB 30 mW at 1 m dish. I use the 20 dB directional coupler to reduce power from 3W to 30 mW.

Hi my new feeder.
