I plan to use 25 MHz out from GPSDO for:
1) ADF4350 TX Lo
2) LNB
3) SI5351 to produce 2 programmable frequencies up to 200 MHz (one output will be 10 MHz)
4) LAB ADF4351 generator

PA3FYM The 10 MHz Lars GPSDO produse the 5 MHz signal with a division by 2 which gives 50 % duty cycle. I will divide by 5 from 25 MHz to get the 5. This division does not give 50% duty cycle as far as I know. Is this important to the Lars code ? Yours?
Hi again,
I measure also some BAT83 that are good up to 2 GHz.
Hi,
I tested some so called 1N5711 blue diodes that has been bought from eBay. They go up to 500MHz, others (red) go up to 1500MHz and give some signal at 3GHz. The red has 2 pF. The blue ones have a voltage drop of 325 mV and the red one has 650 mV.
May be SI5351 can be a good solution for you.
Hi,
If you have a rtlsdr as I have you can play with gain to obtain the best snr. If you have a range that you obtain the same snr select the minimum gain to have a better dynamic range.
PA3FYM I will use a /5 instead of the /2...
PA3FYM I searched for PL904 and I see that no one selling them. For Lars gpsdo there is no need to use a NEO7 I think a chiper NEO6 is suitable as it produces 1 pps. Also I will try to lock a 25 MHz VC-TCXO using one more /5 divider on the HC390 to provide the 5MHz and 1MHz required. As you know the software is any reason that it will not work?
PA3FYM From micrel they propose to do the jitter removal using PL904 series of chips. Have you tested also this series of chips?
dl9sad my experience is about 5 dB improvement from 6 turn helix to 3 turn helix. I have a patch antenna and when I test it compared to the 3 turn helix I will post the results.
PA3FYM I test' my 'chip PL902191 driving at 1MHz from NEO7M and producing 25 & 27MHz. The generated signals have less jitter that the 1 MHz but it is still too high the jitter to be used directly. I try to cascade at 25MHz with PL902167 and if this fails, I want to make a PLL at 25MHz. But it seems the arduino PLL is the best solution waiting for the 390 and 4046 that I have order and the new release from you.
Hi,
My ADF4351 when set to 3.456 GHz produce a -27 dBm signal at 10.368 (*3). When set to 10.368/4 = 2592 is -37 dBm.
Hi I plan to use NEO7M as GPSDO providing 1 MHz to a PL902191 (designed by me) giving 25 MHz output. At a related post mentioned that jitter is still hi. Any similar experience ?
Hi,
Two useful power meters can be build from W1GHZ (PCB are available).
Power Detector IC good to > 10 GHz

Hi, use as high frequency as you can for this circuit and if you have an mmic you can amplify the signal.
DD0KP OK tnx !!!
