Sdr Console and / or Windows is cutting in Rx. According to windows all driver are up to date, but installed HP Support Assistant. This assistant installed IDT audio driver, but I had no time to test, as it’s xmas. Tomorrow I listen carefully in a empty space in NB.

Mine is using 10 to 15% Cpu load. There is no any back round software running. Even watching Youtube with a music, SdrConsole is running smoothly.

In have following Rx-setup; HP Probook 6570b, i5, Ssd, 8G, Win7. Win and all drivers are up to date.

All audio echancements are turned off. The problem is, that SdrConsole is cutting audio, no matter how to change audio buffer size. At the lower right side of the screen audio buffer starts ingreasing 70.. 80.. 120 and so, and cutting audio.

But but, opening Chrome drops the audio buffer and every thing is ok, no audio cuts at all. Audio buffer stays 35 to 60.

Weird I would say...

Forgot to mention, I’m using Airspy Mini, and with SdrSharp and HdSdr every thing works ok.

Here we have modified Goobay 67270.

I had also bad soldering(s) in my DxPatrol version one upconverter. Couple weeks ago I made few contacts, tx-signal was fading a bit, but then suddenly no uplink at all.

I used magnifying clas to find suspissous solderings, ordered a new soldering station with a tiny little soldering head. Re-soldered almost all solderings... no tx power.

Then finally I found (to day) it was the very first capasitor c21 next to input sma, that was not connected at other side, even it looked to be ok. Re-soldered that and bang I’m online again. Next I’m gonna change the wifi amp to 20w Pa from Rene pe1cmo.

... so, time to time it’s hard to find what’s wrong in the signal path..

Yep, that’s what I’m using also in rx-line, as there are times when you just need F to Sma conversion.

hmmm.. yes there is, ebay.. amazon and so...

Is there F-female to Sma-male available, I have not found any?

Here is how I made it. Cut both Lnb neck and Poty tube and make them fit together.

Make three slots with a hacksaw to Poty tube, secure and seal the seam.

Wanted to test rx in Lapland. First I had to build a ”tripod” for the dish, laptop in dressing room of the sauna. SdrSharp shows, that cw-beacon 17 db stronger than NF, so works fine.

Yep I have SdrSharp in another old laptop, but it’s too slow.

Now installed it also in this ”new” laptop, works fine.

Hi,

I’m running Hdsdr with Airspy-mini in Win7 Pro.

Everything works ok, but what I want is bigger spectrum window in vertical direction, waterfall can be smaller.

I haven’t found solution for that.
