DD0KP I received an email from them where they asked their Chinese manufacturer to produce the sample. Btw these are really polite and customer friendly people. Everything they do, they Cc you in. And when you say: "I'm curious" , they ask if there is an issue (which there isn't). I have to scroll through my emails the dual band patch, of which this thread is all about, generated a tsunami of emails ...
Like I promised, I keep you posted when I receive my sample! -
My fear is the following. Last week we had a club member bringing a 8W version. Exactly looking like the link from DL5RDI's post. We injected 0 dBm and got 15 dBm out.
When we injected more .. 15 dBm output .. when we injected less .. zero output.
We blamed the measuring equipment first ... but after double verification the equipment was okay. So we labelled the PA as 'bad luck' ...

DL5RDI OK : -)

DL5RDI Have you measured the output power of that WLAN booster?

G3WDG I know, but I remember having issues installing 1.9 , but will try tomorrow

I did some further tests here just now and was getting FT8 decodes reliably down to -20dB. This seems to be about the threshold for successful decoding here.
This is about 10dB below what I can see on the BATC WebSDR waterfall. SIgnals decoding at -10dB are just visible.
Charlie, I did some tests too, but with JT65A (this mode is selected automatically in WSJT-X dev-1.7) and same results: -20 is the limit , and corresponds to ca. 1 mW (0 dBm) output power in a 60cm wide offset dish indoors.
Perhaps we should try it together some time?

BG0AUB Does not matter, you learn 'QSO English quickly'. We will help you !
(only callsign of other station and '59' will be enough and if you can mention your QRA (grid) locator here on the forum (because I can't find you on QRZ.com) ?
QRA locator sShould be something like NN20.. , or NM19 .. Xinjiang is big!
I look forward making QSO with you -
G8HAJ I saw you on 30m too, this is more quick : -)
I am impressed by your piece of code and the results! -

SM6PGP It looks very impressive and nicely built! Do you also have a radome (encapsulation) for it?

OK, I started this thread to talk about the dish feed mentioned in the initial posting.
So, PE1CHL, I suggest the following: Stop polluting this thread and create your own about your 'new'/unknown patch and start nagging there.
Deal?

'New type of patch' (I don't believe that .. can you post an URL or information on that?)
Or you mean 'new' in a sense that they are not second hand?
Or you mean 'new' that it's made on (lossy) PCB?

The original PDF file seemed too large to upload, but here is a webpage describing the feed.

BG0AUB do you have narrow band possibilities to uplink towards the satellite at 2400 MHz ?

I use SR-3602's (in various versions) locked to GPS with success. See here for an example. The world has changed! If you order a SR-320 (3.50 U$ from AliExpress!)
you are in a new world. Wake up !
