thank you for your answer, I have measured my "old" dish: D=55 cm en f=32cm. Now the new dish is 110cm and f=60cm. So that would be ok I guess, so I don't have to worry with the new set-up.
Je nach Spiegelgrösse ist ausserdem noch die maximale Ausleuchtung zu beachten. Diese ist abhängig von der Windungszahl und somit vom Öffnungswinkel der Helix. Bei einem 80cm-Satspiegel hat sich eine Helix mit 4+ Windungen bei mir am besten bewährt.
Hi, I have changed my dish size from 60cm with 5 turns helix to a 100cm dish. I wonder if the helix with 5 turns is too narrow for the 100cm dish and so the dish area is not completely used. Do you have any experience on this? Is their any table/diagram available with "öffnungswinkel"/number of helix turns and dish diameter to overcome spillover?
