Lucien,
This looks interesting.
On your web you state that bare PCB can be supplied.
Can you give us more information about the price, shipping and how to order?
Tnx, Frank

Workaround bei Verwendung eines USB-Relais (HID) für PTT (PA-Steuerung):
1. Installieren: wiringpi und darrylb123/usbrelay (git)
2. Pi GPIO24 (PTTout) und GPIO25 verbinden
3. Script: 959BH_1 ist die Kennung meines Relais, in Git ist beschrieben wie man die Kennung herausbekommt; diese MUSS in dem Script angepasst werden, sonst geht es nicht.
Bash
Display More#!/bin/bash pin=6 # in pin for relay control gpio mode $pin in # make sure pin is configured as an input gpio mode $pin up # enable pull-up resistor while :; do gpio wfi $pin rising # wait for a rising-edge echo "rising" usbrelay 959BH_1=1 usleep 100000 # debounce gpio wfi $pin falling # wait for a falling-edge echo "falling" usbrelay 959BH_1=0 usleep 100000 # debounce done

I uninstalled the DigiUSB driver, unplug and plug again.
Now the Relay is recognized as a HID USB-Input device and it works as expected ....
-
Hm, this is the only one HID relay. Due to the fact that all other control apps fail to control the relay it may not have an ID at all?!
I will try to remove all other external USB devices .....
-
Ok.
I see the ID in SDRconsole, there seems to be no valid Serial-ID. The same issue I faced with other control apps for this kind of USB-relays
-
I have this one. Recognized by win10 but not by sdr-console. I tried some other app, but no success. These do not recognize it.
If someone can read the attiny of a functional board, the content may be flashed into mine. Relays driven by pin 2 and 3.

Can someone point to a working usb HID relay?
I bought one (HW-343) which does not seem to work on Win10.
-
I can confirm that it works .... ip:xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
-
Insights......fine alignment from outside via screw.
40dB coupler

Pluto shall be able to run on 10MHz with appropriate modification of config file.
Is there a reason why you put the multiplier?
BTW: The level matters; there is an impact to the signal quality. Check TCXO mod thread.
-
-
May be you can apply the USB/GND modification described here
at about 7:40
BTW: The removal of the TCXO is outdated, it does not need to be removed, it can be disabled.

Fummelkram ... scheint aber zu gehen.

I can confirm the results from @DG7YEO (beginning of this thred), that venton lens gives some 5dB better rx results compared with open feed (POTY). Readout from SDR-Console + pluto SDR.
For the records: The black printed lens is not as bad as experienced in my first steps, but it gives some -2dB compared with open feed.
My dish is 40cm TV offset type. Figured a lot with the focus, but seems to be the same for both lens.
BTW: My rain-cap (Quarkdose) as mentioned in "Wetterschutz" thread does not introduce noticeable attenuation.
@DD4YR: I presume the lens is designed for TV offset dish and I guess that all these TV offset antennas have almost the same f/D.
-
Yes, it is printed and came with the kit.
In a first step I tested the assembled POTY with LNB on Astra TV Sat and was not able to achieve reception. After removing the lense reception was normal. Focus point does not have such a huge impact between signal there and nothing.
Will do some tests the next days with some other lens from commercial LNB, stay tuned.

Poor mans solution for the brave:
Modified chinese TQP3M9009 amp.
Used SMD BPF (mouser):
DEA162495BT-1289A1
2500BP15M400E
Capacitors 100p 0603
-
This lens from a vendor of a POTY kit does not work at all
-
... perfect fit ....
... attenuation to be checked, at a first glance looking ok
-
Well sat some point during the testing the RF2126 1 Watt amp fried it self, so possibly why so little output. Back to playing and waiting with some replacement chips on order.
There are some issues with the chinese RF2126 design:
1. Voltage divider for Vpc is inadequate, especially @6V; use poti and set 180mA idle current carefully!
2. Capacitors and layout: See attached snap, I placed capacitors with values given in the data sheet. Removed/replaced this 0 ohm resistor in the stripline with a capacitor with the datasheet value (3p3) and put a small copper strip to connect output.
I achieved some 900mW @5V @2400MHz
Frank
Update: Due to some reason three other RF2126 fried. I give up with this amp ...
