The difference here is about 2 DB between the background noise. While when it was launched it also appreciated 11.12 DB of noise of the transponder, compared to the background noise.

Yes, the noise test was very useful for several things.

Ok I do not know the situation in China but I still get the EB of ES'HailSat-2 on 11205 some weaker signal.
-
How can I confirm that I received eshail2? I am dizzy... I used a 120cm antenna with an elevation of 12.2 degrees
Tune to 11205 more or less you should see this Horizontal Polarization.
-
I found you mentioned the signal. But still not sure whether from eshail2 for decoding at the same time come out many TV programs
@ Zhaofeng
No, but that signal comes from 26 degrees EAST I think it's HailSat-1. But it being understood that in the same position you also receive ES'HailSat-2 with a 80 cm dish, of course if you have a 120 you have to refine.

@ Zhaofeng
If you tune to 11.200 Ghz horizontally polarization you should see this are on 26 Degrees East.
Also ES'HailSat 2 always in horizontal polarization.

I think the gain is due to the reason of having created a circular polarization with the piece placed at 45 degrees.

This uses the 45-degree dielectric concept 73.

@ markro92: Thanks for the reply I will do other tests as soon as I can. Many thanks

I did a little test of the software does not crash but nothing happens either. Probably my fault.

Hello!
I have a GPSDO system already in my shack. Based on the 10 MHz signal, I would like to generate a 27.8516 MHz LO for my already modifed LNB (the XTAL has been removed).
Does anyone know a usable DDS board to generate the LO frequency based on the 10 MHz reference clock? I bought on ebay a board with ext. clock input, but the output signal is garbage. (Name of the product: DDS Board with ext. reference clock) Don't use it!
Thank you for any suggestion!
Regards
Martin, DL2NED (near Nuremberg)

In addition to the time changes that can be made, I think the simplest is the one proposed by DF9NP, which provided a small box to have the 27 Mhz with external reference to 10 MHz. Another thing to say about the LNB and the their protection: the famous white lid. If you have the opportunity to make measurements, you will discover how disastrous these protections are. To avoid this problem, simply remove it and replace it with GoreTex, a material almost invisible to microwaves. This type of laminate is not readily available, but if you can it can be extracted from excess military fabrics.

They heat like stoves. If you know the device in the datasheet it should report all the values including the thermal test and its curve.

Peter for me a real pleasure thank you.

It is done easily as well as increasing the frequency OL on 10058 Ghz obtain IF 432 Mhz. Or reduce the OL frequency around 9194 to get a IF 1296 Mhz. So with due patience is a good instrumentation can be done.
