Here in JN57QS meanwhile also nothing to see. Remco, how strong do you see the Es'hail-1 11199.8H beacon? Here 26 dB SNR. (1,5m solid dish)
Hello,
I get the beacon of Es'hail-1 11.199800 MHz about 23 dB with dish 1m.

Currently 11205 H 1m plate LNB DB6NT
-
Currently 10706 V 1m plat LNB DB6NT
-
I found that the beacon 11205 arrives well in polarization H and strongly decreases in V. On 10706 it is the opposite that occurs. Which could mean that the show is no longer in circular right now.
-
I have significant reduced carriers on both 10706 and 11205 and no sidebands anymore. Maybe 20 dB-ish over noise.
My antenna had moved with the wind of this night ...... Now I also have about 20dB S / N.

Le plus grand centre commercial
Hmm... I thought my online setup went wrong, or the heavy wind rotated my dish Glad to hear that might not a local issue, I was seeing no signal at all too.

Both beacons are disabled right now ....

Hello all
Trying to receive Eshail2 from KM69 with a 60cm offset disk with Octagon PLL and a rtl-sdr receiver.
So far i managed to get something guess..
The two closer peaks around center marker starts on 00 of every hour lasts a few mins as i observe..
I receive this signal both on V and H (H weaker) and dissapears if i move sat or block lnb with my hand
Everything sounds like eshail 2.. Except I couldnt get anything from 11.205 beacon..
Maybe my rtl doesnt go up to 1455 mhz..Not sure..
Does somebody confirm this is eshail2 beacon??
Best Regards..
Oguz
Yes, this is the right beacon on 10706 MHz. I had the same problem with the 11205 MHz with some RTL. which therefore does not exceed 1000 MHz. With the new RTL2832 "New Gen" (green) everything is coming.

Thanks for the information Peter.
It's like, I will not do it again ....

Hello everyone,
Actually it moves ...

Thanks for the explanation Robert,

What is that signal inside the EB?
Appears here too.

I just watched again. This weird signal is always present. I do not know his origin ...

Good evening everyone, this is what I received a few minutes ago at 24 °. On 10706 MHz 35 dB S / N and on 11205 MHz 37 dB S / N.

What is this stuff never seen before?
Do you also receive it?
10492700 H +/-
test jamming???
Hello, I am currently receiving the two beacons 10706 and 11205 much weaker than in previous days. Certainly because of the current position and orientation of the satellite. I have no trace in the spectrum on 10492.7 MHz.pointed at 24 °.

correction:
For example Arabsat 5A 30.5 ° also uses 10706 MHz but has nothing on 11205 MHz.

Hello,
how do we even know that the mentioned and currently observed frequencies (11205 and 10706 MHz) are actually the beacon frequencies used by Es'Hail-2 ?
73´s de Robert
Hello Robert,
It's true that it's not easy to make sure you do the right thing. I spent a lot of time with lots of uncertainties.
First there is the list of tags that allows you to see that only Es'hail-2 uses the two frequencies 10706 and 11205.
http://frequencyplansatellites…pe-Africa-MiddleEast.html
So by being correctly pointed (24 ° for now), the two signals are almost of the same amplitude. For example Arabsat 5A 30.5 ° also uses 10706 MHz but has nothing on 11705. A reliable system of control of the azimuth is necessary. Also be sure to measure on the right frequency. I control with the GPS-driven spectrum analyzer.
Now we are waiting patiently for the start of the AMSAT transponders to play with our beacons!
