so George SV1BDS my mistake!
I was using the datasheet for the SKY65135_31...
yes, but driver and pre-driver get 3,3V instead of 5V.
all measurements on the datasheet are taken with VCC1, 2 and 3 at 5V.
sorry George SV1BDS but I cannot recover the mail I sent you!!!
if you still have it you can publish it here.

George SV1BDS :
problem solved!
the supplier answered my question:
>>>
Hello, sorry for not responding in time because of our Spring Festival holiday.
EN is the switch of the amplifier, the enabled state: 1.2-5v, the non-enabled state: 0-0.4v
Best regards,

it seems that he is competent!
maybe later I will ask infos on that "5 legged" IC...
I tried to follow the PCB strip from the EN pad but, as far as I can see, it goes to an unknown device marked DH=U0G (it's a 5 pin IC...).
there is also a voltage stabilizer IC AMS1117 which delivers 3,3V to pin 16 and 15 of the 65135...
Hi, anyone try this 1W amplifier ?
hi George SV1BDS !
I just received the amplifier and would like to try it...but I feel like a monkey (or a donkey...as you prefer) because I don't know what to do with the two pins marked "EN" and "OUT"!!!
(the OUT pin could be the DC output of the internal detector...)

nice job ra3apw !
what is the active device you use in the 20 watt amplifier?
hi Manfred DK5FA !
what kind of connector (the double female) is that?
and, more over: where did you find it???
I need some for my Siemens W30861-Q4160-X-5 PA!
thanks!
thanks G0MJW !
I hoped it was easier!!!
I found the phase noise was poor on my Octagon quad with a 24 MHz reference (normally 25MHz) so I investigated good frequencies. Setting a 9.5 GHz LO with a 24.35897436 MHz reference worked well. The maths is easier too. Now I can use an Octagon SF8008 to receive DATV as the IF is above 950 MHz.

hi Mike,
can you tell me how you measured the phase noise of the LNB?
not to "pollute" this thread you might open a new one or write to me directly.
thanks!!!
well...I bought the 2 Venton just for their lenses! but I hoped they could be used somehow!
It's strange that, even if DRO, they do not even receive the beacon...
I will check the DRO frequency trying to receive the NB beacons with an SDR receiver.
hi Mike DL1GNM ,
what Venton is that?
I bought two EXL-T (from two different suppliers) but I cannot make them work!!!

waow!!!
where did you find the right laminate???
it seems it is more rare (and expensive...) than palladium!!!
Dave G8GKQ is already checking the Rpi4!!!
this morning I came across this article on Doherty amplifiers:
https://www.rohde-schwarz.com/…doherty_eblast_text-ad___
at the end of the page there is also a webminar...
and it has got two USB3 for the LimeSDR Mini!!!
thanks Heiner for the nice evening!
restaurant and food were excellent and the fellows I met...even more!!!
thanks Guntram for the pics!
see you on the sat!
