Hi Forum
has somebody already entered the various HAM satellites into his IC-9700 SAT-memory and is willing to share the list with us/me?
A CSV-export file from CS-9700 application would be great!

Many thanks for the csv file, however when I attempt to load it to my IC9700, using the CS9700 programming tool I get the following error message "File error. Illegal data."
Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Roger (G8VLR)
I used the import function when the "Satellite/Satellie memory" section is selected in the tree - works without problems?!
Attached you find my current sat memory exported from CS9700.
Many thanks for your reply, Dietmar but I still have the same issue, even using your file. I'm on latest firmware update 1.11 and I wonder if this could be the issue?
Kind regards,
Roger (G8VLR)
Seems that the updated firmware or programming software is the problem. A collegue/ fellow radio ham sorted the csv issues and it is now installed. If anyone else has these issues just ask and I will upload the modified file.
Cheers,
Roger G8VLR
Hi Roger
I'm also running FW 1.11 and CS9700 in V1.10.
I have an idea - can you please post the file, you was able to load, here in the forum?!
Hi Dietmar, I will load the file here. The file was edited by Nigel, G4RWI, specifically for FW 1.11 and CS9700 V1.10.
Cheers,

The classic issue - i8n and NLS
Decimal separator
Germany ","
UK "."
Field separator
Germany ";"
UK ","
Import-/Export-files should be never NLS dependent :-/
Hi all, Was trying to load all (3) files mentioned in this post using CS-9700 Ver 1.12 and 1.13 (latest firmware) for the IC-9700. System keeps saying for all the files : File error / Illegal data etc. Would this be the ";" seperation issue or might this have to do with upgraded software versions ? Any idea / advice. Thanks Danke Albert 73
Hi Albert
dumb question - you've tried to load the CSV-file in the ZIP-file into CS-9700?
The file you load into CS-9700 can be opended i.e. with NOTEPAD and is human readable - correct?
I've currently tried it with V1.12 and my CSV-file from this thread andd it worked as expected.
plz can get the modified file cant load file thx

I just got my IC-9700 and found this thread. I too had issues importing. But did what DL2SBA posted, I replaced all commas with periods and then replaced all semi-colons with commas.
Here is the steps I did to convert it. (Done on a Windows 10 computer)
1. Open the file in notepad
2. Do a CTRL-h
3. "Find what" enter a comma "," do not include the quotes
4. "Replace with" enter a period "." do not include the quotes
5. Click on "Replace ALL"
Do it again, but you want to replace semi-colons with a comma.
Save the file and try importing it again.
I have attached the SAT2020 which has been edited based on the above instructions. I just imported it into my 9700 and it worked.
Good luck!!
