Recently I added a tiny extension board that delivers PTT (USB to seriell at the PC and PTT Relais + 2 Transistors at the Pluto site).
It's working well for PTT requirements.
At the same time I installed the Evariste, F5OEO firmware.
My broken PreAmps happend before I installed the firmware upgrade.
Do I understand correctly that the F5OEO firmware solves the output burst issue ?

Yes f5oeo uses 2 gpio ports to controll ptt relay. Both gpio need to be different active to make the ptt true…
F5uii made a great pcb but you can easy put it on a small testboard.

Hello Benno, I installed this board yesterday and it works perfectly.
This board solves the output burst.
There is also a version with opto somewhere. Unfortunately there is no print for this.

Hallo,
I remenber a solution, feeding an external clock into the Pluto. In this case, the internal clock is deactivated. Unfortunately I can not find this in the Forum. The search engine gives no result, a little help would be appreciated. My goal is to use the Pluto with a better internal clock and use an external GPSDO also, if nessecary.

thanks for the link. Not sure if the new internal clock can be deactivated. My idea was, just plugging in the Leo Bodnar if needed. Normal operation at room temperature is possible with a good TCXO (Abracon 40 MHz, +/- 0,5ppm).
I will continue searching a bit about clock switch.

yes Uli, if you want to use the f5uii ptt option you, ll need the f5oeo firmware.
And yes you, ll still be able to use the nb with sdr console.
