I have one of those. It is real value for money and it has a very nice interface to the computer (not very important when all you want is to use it as an SDR for 1 specific application, but still...). However you must understand that it is just a "learning" tool and evaluation tool for the AD9363 and not really suiable for everyday radio use without addition of extra filtering and (pre-)amplification.
E.g. the receiver mixes the input with a squarewave LO signal so when you tune it to the 2m band for example, it will receive the 70cm band just as well, the 23cm band a bit less, etc. Result is really abysmal receive performance when you connect it to an outdoor VHF/UHF antenna in a residential area. An RTL-SDR really does much better!
Of course within the field of usage we are discussing here, e.g. use it as an SDR to receive Es'hail-2, part of the requirements are already satisfied by adding an LNB. It probably would not hurt to insert a bandpass filter around 739 MHz between the LNB and the ADALM PLUTO. Remember it is no problem when there is some loss there, the LNB has a very high gain anyway.

What kind of CPU does it require now? I tried to install that program before and the precompiled binaries do not run on my computer because the CPU is too old.
(maybe it could be compiled from source but then it could be too slow)

Just did the setup for DVB-S2 on 13cm 2380MHz with the Pluto and receiving works with the Mini-Tiouner-express same way like my test yesterday on 23cm.

Wait I was confused... it was SDRAngel that I tried and would not work on my Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E6850 @ 3.00GHz.
SDR-Radio is only for Windows I see...
