Windows Longmynd Client

Hi All,

I've been working on a windows client for Longmynd. I wanted to keep my minitiouner in the shack, but use the client elsewhere. This connects to a modified version of longmynd and it allows you to control and show the stream if its locked onto a transmission. This is designed specifically for use with OA-100, but should in theory work with anything longmynd can decode.

It really works great TOM. I can now leave the Minitiouner with a simple raspberry close to my dish and control the DATV RX via network all over my house.

Combined with the remote monitoring via the same raspberry i can switch everything on and monitor temperature, voltage and power...

Great tool with less cpu load.

A new version of the longmynd client has been released. This is a big update with improvements to the spectrum, new modes for control of longmynd and the tuner. You will need to update your longmynd installation to take advantage of the new version.

Hey Tom,

first thanks for your work. I´m downloading atm the client (with 160kb/s ) , server is running on a Pi4 4Gb Ram.

One thing: can you make a ico for a desktop icon? or tell me what it should look like and i do one and send it to you to include it in the repo. with an example desktop file it would be easier for beginners.

To write it here, too. The software is running smooth, since i installed it, it never crashed or freeze (zombie whatever) on the Pi4 4Gb with "bullseye" RaspiOS connected via WLAN!

my client is on LAN, but the bandwidth is less than a thought, so it should also be fine on WLAN, cause the server already runs via WLAN (5GHz) and never clitched etc.

For all reader, if you think about it, give it a try, it simply works.

Bonjour Tom,

Thank you for this nice application. Works fine here on a PI3 4Gb.

If you are looking for a feature request for the next version ... I think that a Chat window at the bottom (with an option to display it or not) will be useful making your Windows Longmind client a one-stop shopping for a QO-100 Reception.
