WB TRANSPONDER TESTS

*chuckle* Heiner, are you going to set the record 'most received DATV amateur stations'? : -)

PA3FYM I do this as an appetizier for all the people waiting for either the BATC Minitiouner or for the DATV-express one which are at the moment not in stock any more. I get many phonecalls every evening where OMs are asking what they need to be ready for DATV. I try to keep this guys alive here until they will get there equipment in late of April. Thats all.

I did some experiments with DATV-express und the Minitiouner. With succsess.

But, to get jerk free pictures I have to use at least USB 3.0, better 3.1.

Whats your experience?

DD4YR hi Robert..I am running here USB3.0 and the performance is much better then with USB2.0 I am using a pcmcia card for 3.0 in my old notebook. you get such card for arrond 10 Euro.

dl9sad Martin do you have a Adalm Pluto then you can generate a DATV Signal and check the WB path of your converter. I think this path is not needed, because normal sat receivers can´t handle low SR rates.

If you don´t see the picture..just restart the software..then it works..

I habe einen Pluto, habe ihn aber noch nicht zum Laufen bekommen. Gibt es irgenwo eine Anleitung ? Ich würde gerne auch mit GNU-Radio arbeiten und ihn als DATV-Sender nutzen.
