Minitiouner S not finding VLC and not starting?

Hi,

please keep in mind, that C:\\ProgramFiles\VideoLAN\VLC means the vlc executable must be in the folder named VLC.

In other words: C:\\ProgramFiles\VideoLAN\VLC is NOT the executable.

Or even in other words: C:\\ProgramFiles\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe is the complete path to the executable.

Is that the case on your win10? Also, try to install vlc.exe in the path that is represented by the translation to italian language (if that is the set language) , maybe that helps.

make sure you are really using VLC and NOT VLC Plus.

yesterday I solved exactly the problem you are describing at a friends PC
by uninstalling VLC plus completely and then installing VLC 32bin fresh.

DD1US is probably right. VLC plus is not vlcplayer, at least it is not from https://www.videolan.org/ , the official supplier.

There are some discussions in forums that e.g. vlcplayer plus can be downloaded from vlc.de, but is obviously not the original player provided by videolan.org . Maybe this also applies to the italian version. Better look here:
