    mit Deinen Einstellungen kann ich den WB Beacon empfangen.
    Der Versuch den WB Beacon mit dem AMSAT Empfangskonverter zu empfangen ist allerdings fehlgeschlagen. Die Carrier SR und Full Anzeigen leuchten zwar grün aber es erfolgt keine Demodulation. Ich wollte den AMSAT Empfangskonverter einsetzen da er die Spannungen 12V bzw. 18V für das LNB liefert. Hast Du Erfahrungen mit dem AMSAT Empfangskonverter?

  • DK1MG Hans please send me your screenshot with Minitioune SW for the beacon connected to the Amsat Converter. Then I will check. But as I remember you are not the only one having difficulties on this.

    i made a short PROMOTION VIDEO for QO-100 (retransmitting NB TP via WB TP in DATV H265)

    the testing setup by dg0opk was 120cmDishes on RX/TX has given me the time and possibilty to transmit all live you can see... in DATV H265 1280x720!!

    120cm RX and TX for WB and NB TP use...

  • Today I've sucessfully transmited 333K 32APSK signal which was received (only) by Renny PE1ASH with his 3m dish.

    I've done this test just to smile at:

    Users are encouraged to experiment with higher-order DVB-S2 modes at lower symbol rates (for example 333 KS 32APSK) to conserve bandwidth for other users.

    Power required for that signal was quite sick :) and reception on 0.9m dish was still impossible (mer 14 of mer 14.1 required).

    I think I'm the only one who achieved this "333K 32APSK" goal :)

    So please change guideliness: 32 APSK to 8PSK

    (as 333K 16APSK needs power comparable with 2M beacon)

    8PSK FEC 2/3 is really a maximum when there are so many stations that we care of bandwidth.
    Also It is worth to reconsider "overpower" message over 1M signals - making it absolute in scale (<7db) rather than relative to the beacon.

  • We have done 32APSK before back in the early days but the problem with it is the high SNR and limits of phase noise. 16APSK is the more realistic limit. 33ks at 16APSK is quite watchable as long as the resolution is not too high. Better though to stick to 8PSK or QPSK and a slightly higher bandwidth.
