Is it a mod known to work ? Did you look at before and after on an analyser?

I'm using no modified GM-201 but if I remember correctly DG0VE SK used the same PLL for 13cm converters quartz 24MHz for 432MHz IF and also in Application notes by NXP PDF you can find suggestion for 24MHz PLL is TFF10xx I think....
Maybe someone is the owner of DG0VE converter and can check the IC and oscillator?

I see I wrote 13cm&432Mhz... sorry my mistake!
DG0VE downconverter is for 3cm and IF is not 432MHz but 1100MHz
DG0VE used Tff101x with 24MHz for 9360MHz IF = 390*24MHz
Anyone have downconverter and can make photo of LO?
I have downloaded that document and there is no mention other than 25Mhz. I would look at the base-band noise on an analiser and inject 25Mhz into the chip after removing the crystal, then go downwards until the device/noise stops. However I think others would have done this if it were possible ?

I just tried with the Pollin PLL GM-201 GPSO frequency 25,782051 MHz.
LOF is 10.055 MHz. ZF 435 MHz.
The signal is same Quality , no problem.
PSK beacon 20dB SNR, fine signal.
(PS: my SDR Filter is set to 300 kHz)
I tried a lot of PLL LNB´s. The Pollin PLL GM-201 has the widest range of
PLL Lock, from 9200 - 10050 MHz LOF sure lock and good ZF signal.
I use it with 9200 MHz LOF for 1,2 GHz ZF (23cm)

There is a newer variant of this Golden Media GM-201.
It has an additional "+" and also looks different. There is also a Twin-Version "GM-202+"..

It appears that the LNB manufacturers just put in what is cheapest for them at the time, even under the same type designator.
The more silly indicators like "Full HD", "4K", "0.1 dB" etc on the box the higher the chance likely is...
But hey, look at what the price is!
Sometimes even worse. They are writing on package PLL ultaHD LNB blablabla, but actually it is DRO LNB.

I have been testing some LNBF models with PLL and some are not good for our application. The best ones so far are the ones that use the RDA3565ES chip. The ones with RDA3560 chips are also ok. But watch out for the ones with chips labeled 3566 or 3568 (not sure these chips are RDA). The LNBFs with the 3566/3568 chips suffers from some rapid wobbling frequency changes. I have also tested a couple of LNBFs with the NXP TFF1015 chip and they also suffers from some wobbling.
